Why Ignoring Holiday Shopper Apps Will Cost You

Nov. 18, 2014

Find&Save®/Wanderful Media™ just released their Annual 2014 Holiday Shopping Survey and infographic, featuring insights into mobile app adoption and use, and we’re proud to be their ongoing market research partner for this study! Mobile shopping is growing in impact for retailers as adoption spreads, with consumers hungry for greater access to sales and rebates.

Among other findings:

46% of the holiday shoppers surveyed use mobile shopping apps, and 27% would consider using one this holiday season.

71% of all shoppers are very interested in receiving mobile notifications regarding holiday sales; in fact, 20% of all shoppers surveyed have already signed up to receive such alerts.

69% of shoppers would be motivated to take a photo of their receipts with a mobile phone and submit it for a rebate of $10 or less.

The full survey results are available on our site at aytm.com/stats/BF2014.
