Juice Survey: Orange Juice Named Most Popular Flavor

It’s National Fresh Squeezed Juice Week. While it may not be the most well known week of the year, juice is and has long been considered one of the most popular beverages in the world. And with so many different types and flavors to choose from, there’s a juice out there for pretty much everyone. So what are the top juice flavors and where do people normally go to get their favorites?

 

Juice Drinkers

In Ask Your Target Market’s latest survey, 7% of respondents said that they drink juice multiple times per day. 18% said they drink it pretty much every day. 22% do so a few times per week. 8% drink it just about once a week. 16% said they drink juice a few times per month. 23% rarely ever drink it. And 7% never do.

Top Flavors

Overall, respondents seem to prefer orange juice over most other varieties; 57% of respondents named orange juice as one of their favorite flavors. 37% enjoy apple juice. 28% like cranberry. 27% prefer grape. 15% like grapefruit. 14% like tomato. 5% like different varieties of green juice. And 6% named other favorite flavors, such as blueberry, mango, pineapple, and mixed flavors.

Favorite Brands

In general, 88% of respondents said that they normally get the juice they drink from stores. 13% like fresh squeezed or homemade varieties. And 12% order it from restaurants. Top brands, according to respondents, include Tropicana, Ocean Spray, Minute Maid, Welch’s, V8 and Simply Orange.
