Key Takeaways

3D entertainment might be a growing trend. But there still aren’t that many interested in bringing that experience into their homes. However, of those interested, the vast majority said they would be likely to do so within the foreseeable future. So for companies that sell 3D TVs and similar equipment, the trick is going to be getting more people interested in the format overall. Since those who have seen 3D movies recently were more likely to be interested in owning their own 3D TVs, companies could potentially use that opportunity as a gateway to get customers interested. Starting ad campaigns that partner with specific movies or even offering incentives to theater customers could be a way to capitalize on people’s positive experiences with 3D entertainment. You can view the complete survey results in the widget below and be sure to click “Open Full Report” to take advantage of all the chart and filter options.Photo Credit: Media Markt_3D-TV by Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH under CC BY-ND 2.0What do you want to know?
