Google Calendar is already one of the most popular calendar and organization apps out there. But now the app is coming out with a new set of features called Google Goals, which is intended to help people track and organize all of their more long-term goals. So how many people are likely to take advantage of the new feature? And could that impact how many people use Google Calendar?
In Ask Your Target Market’s latest survey, 15% of respondents said that they currently use multiple calendar apps, either on desktop or mobile devices. And another 30% said that they use one such app. Google Calendar was the most popular calendar app mentioned. The standard Apple iPhone calendar app is also popular. Others mentioned Outlook and Yahoo apps.
Of those who use calendar apps, 61% said that they already use their calendar apps to track and organize their goals. And 59% said they find their calendar apps to be very helpful when it comes to tracking and organizing those goals. However, 57% said that they would be interested in a new app or feature that’s specifically aimed at helping with long term goals.
Of those who don’t use calendar apps, 35% said that they do set a lot of personal goals. And 21% said that they set a lot of professional goals. Overall, 27% said that they could use a better way of tracking and organizing their goals. You can view the complete survey results in the widget below and be sure to click “Open Full Report” to take advantage of all the chart and filter options.Photo Credit: Google Calendar from FlickrWhat do you want to know?
