Netflix TV Survey: Navigation Already Considered Easy

Netflix is in the process of completing its biggest ever redesign for streaming on TV devices. The goal is to make navigation and finding new shows and movies easier. How many people already use Netflix on their TVs and how easy do they find it to navigate the current system?

In Ask Your Target Market’s latest survey, 38% of respondents said they currently use Netflix to stream movies or TV shows. 10% said they don’t use Netflix, but they do use other streaming services. And 53% said they don’t use any services to stream movies and TV shows.Of those who don’t use Netflix, just 4% said they are very likely to sign up for it within the next year. 14% said they would be somewhat likely to sign up for Netflix this year. 27% said they would be somewhat unlikely to sign up this year. And 56% said they would be very unlikely to sign up.

But not everyone with a Netflix account necessarily streams content directly on their TV. There are several ways to stream TV shows and movies. Of those who do use Netflix, 68% stream videos directly on their TVs, including through a gaming console or blu-ray player. 49% said they watch Netflix on their computers. And 13% regularly watch Netflix on a mobile device.

Navigation Ease

In general, 51% of Netflix users said they find it very easy to navigate and find new content to watch. 42% said they find navigation somewhat easy. 5% find it somewhat difficult to navigate. And 1% find it very difficult to navigate.
