aytm users can now access a brand new interface for OE responses

The open-ended question is hands down one of the best ways to receive consumer feedback — in their own words. OEs help to enrich your quantitative data, adding color and context. 

Writing an effective open-ended question can be tricky, but managing your OE responses doesn’t have to be.

The product developers at aytm have worked their magic once again, completely overhauling the open-ended page, and adding a few new features to make managing open-ended responses feel like a walk in the park after months of quarantine. 

The What

We’ve made some major enhancements to open-ended responses, including improved search functionality. 

At aytm, innovation is part of our DNA. We strive to constantly update our platform to provide our clients with the best possible UX experience. 

So, in true aytm fashion, we created something fresh and new. The updated comments page is not only more aesthetically pleasing, but search and all operations with comments are quicker and easier than ever before. 

The Why

This is the first step in a series of planned features for unstructured data (open-ended), including implementing some AI elements into the interface. 

So, be on the lookout for more exciting updates in the months ahead.

The How

Access your open-ended comments on the stats page by clicking on the conversation bubble at the top.

From there, you can filter by questions; sort by time, length, and kudos; show questions in survey order or response order, and reject or provide kudos.

We’ve also included search functionality with highlighted search terms so you can analyze your data more efficiently. 

And one of the coolest new features of the open-ended response interface is the ability to create a filter from your search terms. 

For example, if you want to search for the word "cat" you'd create a filter for it and you'd see every respondent who mentioned "cat" in their response. 🎉

The When

The new and improved open-ended response interface is retroactive and available to all users. It applies to all past, present, and future surveys.
